Recess Indianapolis

Anyone here been to Recess in Indianapolis? It is the same Chef who was at the great Elements. Any reports? Moving back to the area and wanting to know if it's a good option to apply at.

I haven't been there. I like to try Indy's best in my frequent trips there, but the fixed menu is a turn-off for me. It got a nice writeup in the January 14 Dish column in Indianapolis Monthly. I do not know whether or not it is doing well (and it's probably too soon to say). I ate at Elements and enjoyed it.

This past weekend I tried Meridian and Zest and enjoyed them both. Other places I have enjoyed include Oakley's Bistro (my favorite place in Indy), R Bistro, Oceanaire, Z's Oyster Bar, and Palomino.
