Anybody out there been lucky enough to have dined here.

Martin Burge won his second Michelin star this year, to go with the four AA rosettes,he already holds.

Its on my to visit list, just not got round to it yet

I did dine here some years ago now, and can remember how lovely the location was.

Looks like the cooking is top notch.

Really like the look of his food

Love to hear your comments.

FWIW [i haven't eaten at WM, but] a friend whose opinion I trust was there last year and said the food was disappointing - too many trendy foams, and little flavour. We were eating at Sketch at the time, and she said you could see the point of the flourishes at Sketch but at WM it just came over as pretentious.

Flavour is all, I admit.

His background is impeccable, Pied a terre, with Richard Neat, Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir and love him (or hate him ) John Burton Race.

Hope you enjoyed Sketch.

Much preferred the second Swiss themed restaurant tbh. Very friendly service staff, excellent value, well presented food with a refreshing lack of foams which seems to be sadly still en vogue in the 2* restaurant.

Funny this should get brought back up, I'm visiting for a days cookery course fairly soon so I'll report back if it's interesting/ I remember.
