kaiseki in uk

Recommended Posts

we never got the chance to have kaiseki in Japan and are unlikely to go again. I i would really like to try it and wonder if there is anywhere that serves it in london or elsewhere. I appreciate that it's never going to be as good as the japanese experience, but I live in hope.

Umu is probably your best bet. It'll cost you though. Not sure how authentic though - proprieters MARC specialise in high end stuff rather than Japanese per so.

Otherwise I assume all the swish places in mayfair which Japanese diplomats frequent but slip under the radar might do something.
