  1. Pongal is very good. Also there is a new place between lexington and park called Chennai Garden, which was excellent. I have only been to the vegetarian places. But the others in the area that serve meat as well are supposed to be good too. I love going to Kalustyans and to the smaller more hole in the wall shops to look at the different things to buy.
  2. I would recommend the numerous restaurants and food and spice stores along Lexington Avenue from 28-25th streets. There are both sit down and take out restaurants, and food from assorted regions. You can get a wonderful meal and great prices over there.
  3. I finally went to Han Au Rheum yesterday. It was quite impressive. Though being that I have kept kosher thats couple years, there is barely anything for me to buy besides the veggies. If I still ate everything I would have had much more fun shopping there. I went to the Ridgefield location by the way, and it was a neat shopping center. The shopping center reminded me of some of the chinese shopping malls in San Francisco.
  4. Really looking for good produce, selection and quality. I would also love any good Asian and Indian markets if anyone knows of some. I know they are in abundance in the area. But I am very new, just moved last week.
  5. All the major food stores (like shoprite and stop and shop) are awful. Is there anything in the area that has everything I might need that is reasonably priced? I do go out to Trader Joes alot in Westfield. I need a place for hebrs, veggies, health food, real sauces, gourmet etc. I can't make a meal out of the things I am finding at the Stop and Shop near me.
