High Desert Botanicals

We started High Desert Botanicals in 2013 because we experienced the frustration of wanting to make our own cocktail bitters but not being able to purchase the specialty ingredients locally. We started buying spices and herbs in bulk and making kits that include ingredients for bitters that are hard to find or expensive when purchased in small quantities.

We've been expermenting and inventing new kits; always trying something new. We now have an extensive line of bitters kits, tonic kits, glassware, and a tiki mixers kit. In the works: gin kit and a vermouth kit. Our philosophy has always been to package our products in a way that lets people experiment and tinker, to use our recipes, their own recipes, or no recipe at all.
