Born upstate NY, father owned restaurant.

Left NY on 18th b-day. Had fun. Travelled the world by thumb.

Eventually returned, BAs in Antro and Asian Studies at U Albany.

Moved to Calif, entered trades, (welder, trucker, longshoreman, carpet installer)for 10 years.

Went to culinary school, spent rest of career as line cook, chef and culinary instructor.

Now I raise food and travel when the economy allows.
