I started cooking at age 8, I did the roast for Easter supper that year. My mom was never much of a cook, so I would watch Jeff Smith and Justin Wilson and the infamous Julia on PBS and scribble notes about what they were doing, what went in this dish, what spices they used with which meats.

I've loved being in the kitchen since I was little, and that interest has only grown over the years.
