  1. The French Laundry is a fabulous establishment and YES I would go back. Do not get me started on Per Se though, I will leave that for another topic. But the food, service and atmosphere is really top-notch and a great badge of honor for an American Chef on home soil. Having dined their on a few occasions, one of the most special was during the Italian white truffle season. During these magical short 2 months about, The French Laundry offers three menu options, the supplement being all composed of seasonal truffle dishes. A pure treat and rare indulgence. Enjoy!
  2. Bradley Ogden for sure. Maybe not the best restaurant on the Strip, but easily the best at Caesars. Mesa Grill isn't bad. ← At Caesar's make sure to check out Guy Savoy. It is an excellent and crisp dining experience. Skip MESA GRILL, truly not BAD...but not memorable at all! Enjoy
  3. I find that onigiri tastes so good when it is made by "grandmother's hand". It might be the years of experience, or the perfect amount of salt but onigiri fills my heart and tummy. Unfortunately, I do not find genmai-onigiri much in Japanese cities. Yet, they make for delicious and nutty versions. Especially with kuro-goma & varieties on goma-sio. Off to prepare some rice..enjoy!
  4. Me and the family just had a beautiful dinner at The Farm at South Mountain's Restauraunt. Check out the website: http://www.quiessencerestaurant.com/ The owner's son happened to be out wine steward and offered an excellent tasting menu with fresh Arizona produce and protein. A real gem!
  5. Take the bart to McArthur and visit Po Chang Tofu House for excellent soon du bu. In the same area is Ogami, offering excellent grilled dishes and house made neng myun. For delicious kim-chi and solun tang there is a specialty shop on McArthur and Telegraph. The name is Seoul Gom Tang!! Enjoy.
  6. Honestly, there is much hype around slanted door. Spend your precious time enjoying somewhere else The food presents washed down Vietnamese flavors, and you will notice very few Asian locals will visit this establishment.
  7. Will be their tomorrow nite..so will be back with my comments. Really looking forward to this.
