About Me
I manage an 8 acre heirloom fruit orchard in Union, Maine, 20 miles from the Atlantic, looking out to the hills of Palermo, Maine. Our orchard is in its infancy. When mature, it will be comprised of 120 varieties of apples (32 exclusively for cider and 5 for apple butter and jelly) as well as many wonderful old varieties of pears, plums, peaches, apricots, cherries, strawberries & raspberries able to withstand a blustery Zone 5 coastal Maine winter. We also grow french gray shallots and a dozen varieties of organic hardneck garlic.
Our orchard is a labor of love.
