  1. Not Emma y Julia on Cava Baja? Woodfire oven, singed crusts, good sauce.
  2. My take: http://www.epicurious.com/gourmet/blogs/fo...bend/index.html
  3. Try Les Cols, in Olot. Great restaurant, fantastic hotel with weird glass "pavillions" as rooms.
  4. El Cisne Azul not only does wonderful things to a plate of sauteed boletus, but will even sell fresh mushrooms direct--at least to favored customers. You can read about it here (scroll down a bit).
  5. I'll second the empanada de merluza at Sport, and add the setas rellenas at Casona del Pio in Cudillero. Considering that we've been renovating an old mill in Oviñana for several months now, I'm embarassed to admit that we haven't tried La Cueva, though our neighbors tell us it is wonderful. I would, however, recommend the restaurant in the Hotel Cabo Vidio, a small, family run place just off the highway between Oviñana and Soto de Luiña.
