About Me
Even though time in the kitchen has been a growing hobby over the years, it is indeed only a hobby. Playing with a number of cuisines and trying my best to mimic restaurant food has been a driving force. However, the latest and most serious side is getting together a competition barbecue team called House of Q. Making sushi, pasta from scratch, soups, sauces, pickling and whatever else, doesn't seem to shake a stick at the enthusiasm for slow smoked meats. But that aside, there always seems to be something to learn here at eGullet.
