I worked as a cook and baker for a number of years in the 70s/80s. I left the industry because I wanted to try working from 9-5 like normal people. Several years later I found myself married and children soon followed. Now that my children are older and more independent I want to return to cooking or baking professionally. To bring my skills back up to snuff I enrolled in a Culinary Arts program at the local community college which I have almost completed.
