About Me
wine educator/wine consulatant for Benmarl Winer from 1979 to 2003. Taught at the international Wine Center from its inception for about four years and then at the New School for another five years. Taught wine courses at our home and outside our home. Worked in the vineyard; viticulture and the cuvasion at Benmarl Winery(NY). For the past 13 years my wife and I have been spending two to three weeks during the month of August living on a barge on the river Mayenne in France; eating the foods of the region and studying the loire wines of the area. Our specialty courses that we teach ar: The Wines Of Burgundy/ The Wines of the Rhone Valley/The Wines of the Loire/The Wines of Bordeaux/Cepage and Terroir of France. My wife, Julie Feinberg was the first winner of the Sopexa Amateur Wine Contest in 1981. She won a free trip to France and was asked by Christian Milleau of Gault Milleau(spelling???) to go against top professional wine taster in France. My wife lost on the last wine!!!
