To say I bring a multi-cultural perspective to food is an understatement. I am half Micronesian, half Haole (Caucasian), raised in Guam and married to a Filipino. I have always been adventurous about trying new foods and restaurants and enjoy introducing friends to the best of these food finds. In my life before marriage and motherhood, I traveled frequently to Florence, Italy and New York City. My fondest memories of those cities are the great restaurants and food that I ate. I helped launch GuamDiner.com in 2000 and I now write an occasional review for HawaiiDiner.com. I moved to Hawaii in 2002 and have continued seeking out new food experiences with the help of my husband, Gil, who has lived in Hawaii since he was five years old. I live in Pearl City, Hawaii with Gil, our 3-year old son and infant daughter.
