About Me

I have been a passionate eater all my life and began reading about cooking in about 1994. I am still a beginning cook but an avid reader. I have worked in four espresso bars and one tea bar, and loved it. I also worked as a waiter for five years, and loved working as a dishwasher for a summer, and then once again years later. My first job was at Taco Bell, lord help me, and I am now at the Wine Warehouse, Edgewood, in Jacksonville, but after a couple years of this I plan to go back to being a barista full-time until I finish school and then seminary, and then part-time after that as my schedule affords. My ambition is to train and work at a shop on the level of Intellegensia Coffee Roasters in Chicago, Vivace in Seattle, etc.
