  1. Appetizers Spinach Artichoke Dip with Tortilla Chips (1) House Salad Complimentary Bread Basket Entrees Rib-eye Special with Sauteed Broccolini (can't remember exact size but slightly smaller than their 28 oz "Cowboy Rib-eye") 8 oz Filet Mignon with Sauteed Asparagus (and a surprise portion of greens) Dessert Chocolate Souffle Drinks (2) Sodas (2) Coffees Total before tip: ~$82.20 with tax Not bad at all for quite a bit of quality food on a special occasion (my wife passed her National Boards for teaching..Woohoo!). We were pretty stuffed. I don't have the kind of knowledge/memory for ingredients as some of the folks here but we were pleased with everything served. I think next time we'll be a little more adventurous with the appetizers. My wife loves spinach and artichoke dip but there are better choices for sure.
  2. We ate at Metro 8 this weekend and enjoyed it quite a bit. The food, portions, service, and price were all excellent. I agree that it seemed a bit small or narrow, but we never felt cramped. I'm curious why there isn't more chatter about it here? It's right down the street from Magnolia Grill so it can't be a location problem.
  3. I would vote for Abbey Road but I haven't tried your first two nominations.
  4. Well we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Nana's a couple of weeks ago. My memory is not as sharp as most of the folks here when it comes to minute-by-minute food impressions, so I will just list what we had and say it was all excellent. We'd definitely go back. It helps that it's only a couple of miles from our house. I can't believe it took us so long to go there. Appetizers Risotto Local Heirloom Tomato Salad (I don't care for goat cheese but my wife loved it.) Entrees 2x Grilled Kobe Beef Flank Steak Dessert Peach Cobler? (Something peachy for sure.) Double Chocolate Tart? (See, I really can't remember since my wife ate it. Haha!) The service and atmosphere was also excellent.
  5. Is this thread still alive? Over the last year, we've been to Fins, Enoteca Vin, and Magnolia Grill and we're going to Nana's in early September. We almost made reservations to Il Palio instead, but the lack of recent reviews kind of turned us off. If I had to rank the restaurants we've been to so far, I'd put them in this order: Fins Magnolia Grill Enoteca Vin We'll see how Nana's does
