About Me

Started at TGI Friday's as a bus boy in 1988. Became bus boy/salad girl at the Iron Horse in westwood in 89. Worked as Waiter, host, prep cook, fry cook, sandwich cook, dessert girl at the Horse for 5 years. Worked as a waiter and engineer at The Star Island Hotel and Conference Center off the coast of New Hampshire for 3 summers. Graduated From New England Culinary Institute in 96. Apprenticed at The Commander's Palace in New Orleans and Seasons Resort and Conference Center in Vernon (quite a world apart from each other) Was Chef at Mexicali Blues from 97-99. Worked with Epicure Caterers in Midland Park in 99 while building my restaurant, Finks Funky Chicken and Ribs in River Edge. We opened at the end of 01. Got great reviews, was busy and worked hard, then I got sick and we closed :(. Worked at Stickey's BBQ for the end of it's days (oops) and am now working on a secret project that I can't tell you about yet.
