About Me
First word at the age of three was cookie. Family thought I was developmentally challenged for not saying anything sooner. Grew up in a culinary wasteland. Raised on a strict diet of well done beef, mashed potatoes, Campbell's soup and crackers. Mom's idea of gourmet was fixing a salmon loaf. Mine was too. At the age of eleven my culinary holy grail was a stuffed green pepper that I had once at the Eaton's cafeteria in the Midtown Plaza.
Started working in restaurants when I was sixteen. Liked it then and love it now. Worked in four provinces out of ten in Canada, and am currently slinging plates in a great steakhouse in Vancouver where I've settled in for a spell.
