After living in France for two years during and after college, I decided to go into the food/wine industry upon returning to Chicago. I've worked at Trio Restaurant under Grant Achatz, then at Mayacamas Vineyards in Napa under Bob Travers, and now I'm back with Chef Achatz as a Captain/Sommelier at Alinea Restaurant in Chicago.
