Rinsewind

I learned to cook in self-defense as a midwesterner who has Irish parents. Grew up in a university town (Ann Arbor) and was exposed to real food from all over the world. Lived in France for a year and discovered meals that take three hours. Obtained Ph.D. in folklore and anthropology, recently discovering that, conveniently, these fields can mesh with my interest in food and culture.
