I grew up on a remote farm in the North of Iceland and my culinary roots are firmly in the 19th century ... I've written several cookbooks, including two in English (Icelandic Food and Cookery and Cool Cuisine). I currently work for an Icelandic cooking magazine and am writing a couple of cookbooks.
