I am a 23 year old denizen of Washington D.C. who works horridly long hours but enjoys cooking on a personal level. My sister is the actual "chef" in the family, which left me free to muddle through cream puffs and deviled eggs in my younger days. Nowadays, I am more interested in improving the healthiness of my cuisine, discovering ingenious ways of foisting dishwashing duty to my fiancé and learning ways to overcome my neurotic fear of restaurant salad. (Dating from circa 2003, due to an unpleasant insect in my salad.)
