I've been interested in cooking and eating since I was born! One of my proudest cooking milestones came early when I won 3 blue ribbons at the New York State Fair at 10 years old. Since college, I've been an early childhood educator, always bringing cooking into the classroom - even for very young children. Now in my 5th decade (ugh!), I am still learning a lot about food, and teaching my children well. My oldest daughter is about to go off for a gap year at an organic farm (see www.thefarmschool.org) because of the interest I've helped her develop in food, while my younger daughter at 15 is on her second job in a bakery. I hope my next career is food related, just haven't figured it out yet.
