  1. Thank you for your replies. But I got so worked up that I couldn't wait, and made it myself. It was delish. Now I know where to go if I want to dine out. Fascino sounds good to me.
  2. thanks for the suggestions, since it is "big" anniversary, we're ready to splash out, so no real budget in mind.
  3. well, I gotta say, it could be with anything. I would like a great not too tomatoey meat sauce if possible. Something along the lines of a Bolognese would be good. But then again seafood is all right too. For me it's all about the pasta.
  4. I have pappardelle on my mind, and won't be happy until I can get the best plate around. It will be a special occasion for hubby and I soon, so I would like to try and satisfy my craving, as well enjoy a great meal. Any suggestions, we are in Essex County, but will travel to NYC. Thanks!
  5. Finally got my pastrami sandwich! Went to Katz's in NYC. It was great even the kids ate one. Thanks for all your replies.
  6. Hubby and I have a pastrami craving and don't know where to go. Tony's in Passaic Park was the closest place, but now it's gone. We are in the Nutley area, but are willing to venture further afield for a great sandwich. Thanks!
  7. thanks for the suggestions everyone. Took the girls to It's greek to me in Englewood, they loved it. Will try Red Chimney or Greek Delights in Montclair in a few days. Patty
  8. My daughter has just discovered gyros and loves them! We had them for the first time at the Nevada diner in Bloomfield. We are now ready to move and try a different place. Any suggestions for gyros in the Essex, Passaic, Bergen or Hudson areas?
