This was such a great topic! I've lived in and around Elizabeth all my life and still remember those donuts (no other donut has measured up!), and Pappy and Nook's "Candlelight Lounge"... I worked at Evelyn's Seafood House, affiliated w/ the famous Belmar restaurant during the '80's and there were many Saturday nights spent there, in all it's "Sinatra" splendor.
