  1. OK, I have been living in NYC for the last 4.5 years and have developed an addiction to South Indian vegetarian food, specifically dosa and samosa chaat. If I don't head into Flushing(Dosa Hutt or Punjabi Kitchen) or Jackson Heights(Maharaja) at least twice a month for my fix I start getting antsy. However I am thinking of moving to the SF Bay area(probably the Peninsula) next year and am wondering of any decent, cheap S. Indian places. I will be visiting family in San Mateo for the holidays in December and would like to check out any recommendations.
  2. Chana masala sounds good actually, better than canned corn(or pineapple) . Of course, you haven't lived until you've tried Tibetan Yak cheese pizza in Kathmandu...
  3. I usually mix it with seltzer or soda water. I haven't tried adding white wine or Prosecco if you can get it(to make the traditional Venetian 'spritz'), but that would probably be good as well.
  4. No Jollibee's either? I've been curious to try this place, see there's one in San Jose so might try it when I'm in the Bay Area next month. Does Jo-nis still exist? They used to be at the Ala Moana food court years ago.
