Thank you, Alex. Before buying one of the 14181 models on eBay yesterday, I spent some time trying to differentiate between the two models. The appearance of the two blades differ... and there's a chance they mount differently. Everything else on the two models look to be the same. My only concern is for parts should that arise. The 14081 appears to have been manufactured over a longer period of time. The high quality of these machines is what attracted my attention.

What are the differences between Model 14081 and Model 14181 of the Sunbeam Oskar food processors? At the age of 80, I decided that my food processors are all way too big for my present needs.
