We recently got one of these to try it out, and it has been fantastic. The only thing I would change about it, aside from the price, is that the thermometer probe is too short to reach the liquid/oil in some of our taller or larger pots when we're trying to do a smaller volume. Looking at the probe, it has a regular TRS plug. Has anyone tried to use a non-breville probe with this machine, especially extra long ones (like 12-in long) used for barbecue?
