Who knew that Franklin Fountain had pie?

I couldn't manage even a bite, i was still way too stuffed from brunch at Carman's, but it got a good review from the DP.

I stuck with a refreshing, fresh-tasting Limeaide

Ohmigod! I can NOT believe you had room for anything after brunch!

I do love love love the Franklin Fountain though, and it's dangerously close by every day when I'm leaving work. I had myself one of those Japanese Thirst Killer Phosphates last week and it was absolutely delicious and incredibly refreshing on a hot afternoon.

This place is very dangerous...

Why it's called "egg cream" when it contains neither is a mystery on the same scale as "who's buried in Grant's Tomb."

Not sure of the answer in Philly, but in my youth the answer in New York City to "Who's buried in Grant's Tomb?" is "Your mama."
