From Puglia

Deep, intense dark ruby red/black colour. Slow, thin legs. Not decanted, allowed to breathe in glass for 20-25 minutes.

Pretty nose of liquorice, blackberries, black cherries, and a hint of chocolate. Medium-full bodied with liquorice, pepper, black fruit. Very tasty.

Lingering finish with liquorice and spice, ~30-40 seconds. Another winner this year! 87 points (01/10/2004).
