Biodynamic Winemaking

Elin McCoy has just published an article on Biodynamic vineyards and wine productions in Bloomberg.com:

``Right now, a lot of producers are looky-loos,'' says longtime biodynamic consultant Alan York, who works with winery clients in California, Oregon, Chile and Italy. ``Some are fascinated and embrace the time commitment and discipline; others are really looking for the halo effect,'' York says, referring to the public-relations value in today's green-conscious marketplace.

Her article includes a list of 12 biodynamic wines to try.

New-age biodynamic wine production grows

Biodynamics is one of the latest wine buzzwords to echo through the world's vineyards. An increasing number of Old World viticulturists in Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany and especially France sing its praises, as do New World winemakers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Chile and South Africa.

It's a nice read and inspiring to see the growth.
