For what it's worth, McD's has been messing around with Oreos for years (I see the ads in the store windows), but I've never seen this application. Spam is not common here - I've only ever seen it in one store, once upon a time.

 

 

To my great amusement the Chinese name is pronounced Shi-bang!

Sorry, with the travel ban and all there is no way I make it in time. So we need to count on you to take one for the team. McD in China delivers, as far as I remember - so no need to step into the lion’s den 👍

Now, is that a fare request?  Who wants that flavor memory?  I do give them props for being curious and having brave palates.  I know people who won't, and will never, eat fish or salad.

That is disgusting. No other way to describe it. First you have 2 big slabs of Spam, which right off the top is suspect, and then it's topped with what looks like a layer of charcoal. Visually it's gag-worthy.
