Some of my earliest memories of food were watching Floyd - I'm pretty sure that that's where my penchant for using alcohol-in-everything (including yourself while you cook) comes from. The sheer enjoyment that he radiated - I love that and try to capture a bit of that spirit whenever I'm enjoying my food - and of course, my wine.

He was so entertaining as well as informative. I particularly remember an episode where he was making a piperade with a fierce French shrew who kept critiquing him in French. Pure Gold!

Not only was he a pioneer and an inspiration, despite his disorganized ways his recipes were fantastic. every one of his that i have tried has been at least solid, and many have become family favorites.

Not only was Keith entertaining but he was a very good Chef.

I ordered a number of his books from the UK and they were well worth the cost and wait.

I will miss him.-Dick
