Stopped by Paul's "da burger place" just off the corner of 2nd Avenue and St. Mark's Place this afternoon on a whim as I had not planned to eat there. However, I am very glad I did. The waitress was clearly a veteran, and the bacon cheeseburger and fries I had were AWESOME. It is an old-school establishment that still takes care of the details. If you want a superlative burger in a casual setting...GO NOW!!! You'll be very glad you did.
