I'll be down in New Orleans for the first few days of June and am looking for guidance on where to get some serious cocktails. I'm sure there is more than a few touristy spots to avoid, but I've never been there before.

Damn shame about the Library Lounge closing. Apparently it's now some sort of private "smoking club". Whatever.

In addition to the Swizzle Stick (which is great), definitely try the French 75 Bar at Arnaud's -- Chris Hannah is a master.
