Haven't visited this site for approx 10 years. I originally became acquainted with it when Steve Shaw asked our law firm to file the 501(C)3 on its behalf. I've always been a lover of foods and methods of preparing - when Steve approached us I was quite intrigued. I've since advanced to sous vide (Steve would be proud); enjoyed baking breads (machine; hate kneading!); and my husband and friends all blame me for having gained weight. My journey with food began out of self-defense: my mother absolutely could not cook (she actually repeatedly scorched TV dinners!)
