I'm Dario and first I want to thank the admins for adding me, I'm cultural anthropologist specialized in the culinary field, as I'm Italian (Naples), I'm focused on Italian cooking. Outside the cultural studies knowing how to cook and manipulate food is also important, I know it even if I'm not a cook:P
I study dishes, ingredients, their historical and cultural birth, how the food is transformed during the time in the meantime with the culture, the historical and cultural reasons on why foods are cooked or considered in a certain way.
