As this is my first post I’d like to start by just saying hi to the community and also ask for your help. I’m currently in the data gathering phase in the work of writing my bachelor thesis on the topic of reindeer meat in a meal as a touristic resource. And the data I’m looking to collect are narratives which circle around the topic of reindeer meat as part of a meal. So if you feel you’ll have the time to spare to write down a short, or long, story that involves the experience of eating reindeer meat, I’d appreciate it a whole lot. It's also an animal whom many have a special relation to. The purpose of my thesis is to gather and compare food narratives that include reindeer as a part of a meal; hence my interest in hearing your story about a memorable meal of which reindeer was a part. Where was it? Who was with you? What happened? Who did what? How was it? The composing of a narrative is voluntary and the data collected won't have any identification markers, after the collection, and won't be connected to any person.
