Salads are a "toss" up, but I've got to give the edge to Apizza. I've yet to try antipasta at either but Ken's has Bruschetta to die for. Bruschetta has a layer of an apple butter like spread topped with Pancetta. Melts in your mouth and seasonal so may be gone by now. I find myself heading back to Ken's because of atmosphere, theres something about it that just seems more comfortable especially in warm weather with the front windows open.

Where's Zaina? I usually hed to Med Mix. I also enjoy Julies Garden, for a REALLY FAST and inexpensive lunch.

Rave review in the Weekly this week. I'm glad they got their liquor license; I remember reading that they were having trouble with that because of being so close to the elementary school. ← I can't beleive that review, I mean I can for the food..........but the affordability. Pretty odd location for $20 entrees and even odder for no happy hour and app's starting at $10. I like the decor of the place, but nobody's ever there and I was really turned off after spending $100 on just beer/wine and app's.

Of all places to find a Monte Cristo........The Dock in Fremont. This thing was triple stacked and a bit messy from all the meat juices, which I hope is a good thing. Quite a bit more loungy then the traditionals I have had.

I thought HoneyHole was above average as it is not just lunch meat slabbed in the middle of plain bread. Beyond them I like Floyd's and T.S. McHughes, which I beleive are same owners so that might say something. I think Maggies on the bluff in Magnolia, down by the marina.....good FD here. I eat alot of FD's just can't recall all. There a favorite hangover choice, I think.

I love the Honehole as well, but mostly for "French Dip Friday". A little Brown Mustard and Swiss adds a lot.

I was in Bellevue last Tuesday evening meeting an old friend for drinks at Rock Bottom and then were to head out for dinner. As we all know nothing but chains, but these chains on a Tuesday night all had a 45-55 min wait for dinner at 7:00. I was astonished what I beleive the new Lincoln Tower is already doing for these chain restaurants on the corner of Bell Square and Lincoln Tower. Not only the new like McCormick & Schmicks, but the old like Z'Tejas all jam packed. If some little luxury, original boutique restaurants could get in near this mess I think it would be a hit. What once use to be a sleepy go straight home after work town, seems to be changing BIG.

Have the arteries clogged or are Eggs Bene a little to tough to handle for holiday season?

In regards to Tom, contemplating Teatro Zinzanni for wifes birthday. I've heard all types of mixed reviews, but figure the food alone should be worth the price. Any reviews????

Is this the place diectly across the corner from Matador? I thought name was to be Hazlewood, but anyhow very strong political beliefs from the owner Dwayne. There will be no DIRECTV, no BUDWEISER and no BACARDI......NO EXCEPTIONS. ← Why no Bacardi? ← I think the production of BACARDI, leads to deforestation.
