Copper Gate now a hip new lounge???? That is crazy as that was the sketchiest bar in Bar in Ballard for quite some time. Next you are going to tell me that the Viking and Epp's Place have become hip lounges as well. Man has Ballard changed. Creo

I am a huge fan of the Le Gourmand tasting menu and accompanying wines. Rovers is great as well but the room and service at Le Gourmand just reek of romance. The SBC in Pike Place Market has an excellent view of the Sound and the Olympics and they open up one wall on nice days like today.

Sosio's is where I do the majority of my produce shopping in the Market. Great friendly folks and they usually have a great selection of fungus. Steve

A good old fashioned Hoff Brau with a chef in a hat cutting your sandwich meat to order. Something like Lefty O'Douls or Tommy's Joynt in SF. Nothing like a custom sandwich and a cold beer for lunch.
