I'm just down the road. Visit often, but never to eat. Will ask around and post anything my findings.

I'll be in Dubai and Port Salalah, Oman in a couple of days. Anything in the area that isn't hotel food?

a) Will you have your own transportation?
b) Which part of Dubai?
c) How far out of the way are you willing to travel for great food?
