good (and delicious) places to visit in nz

Recommended Posts

The Marlborough Sounds area is just gorgeous, great for wine tasting.

If you'd like a weekend getaway, check out the Mudbrick Lodge -- about an hour outside of Nelson. Sweet, small lodge in the countryside... owner Tania is lovely, and she's a former chef and excellent cook.

Enjoy!

Hi there,

i'm currently studying in nz and wanted to know if you guys know good places to eat or enjoy food.

Thanks

The Smokehouse on the wharf in Mapua, near Nelson for wonderful smoked fish etc. The restaurant at the Pegasus Bay vineyard at Waipara. French Farm at Akaroa.

All were good last time I tried them.

Where are you studying? Christchurch? There are some good dining places in Merivale.
