Chocolate Boxes

I'm looking for a manufactuer/ distributor fro high end chocolate boxes like at Garrison Confections and Jaques Torres? I've spent 2 hours searching here with no luck.

Those boxes are custom made, you can have custome made ones from several company.

Here are three more you may want to check out.

I know Mod pac will break cases and sell as little as 50. They have a good quality box.

Sweet Packaging also has some impressive boxes but I'm not sure if they sell in small quanities.

for basic boxes, nashville wraps (see above post) has good prices. More high-end boxes at www.chocolat-chocolat.com. For custom stuff and generic boxes in big quantities, try www.tomric.com; they make the inserts for Jacques' heart box as well as boxes and molds that coordinate.

I wouldn't consider myself a chocolatier just yet. I'm going to be in the transition from pastry chef to chocolatier for the next year or so. As far as what's going in the box......I promise to post photos when I get some chocolates made.

Referencing an earlier thread, Kareen mentions package nakazawa as a great source, and I believe that they send samples.

Another question about boxes, I have nearly exhausted a search for large styrofoam-ish boxes that can either accomodate cavity layers or candy pads. I'm looking for shipping boxes to send across the country in large quantities.

I purchased what I thought was this type of box from chef rubber, but it's much sturdier than I expected (at 20 bucks for the box and 4 for each layer, I should've known) so I use it for storage and it works nicely and keeps everything in one small place, instead of sheet trays all over.

Try Polar Tech. They have an office in Chicago. The person I have dealt with is Will Thomas (1-800-423-2749). They also sell ice brixs.

I am looking into getting some custom made triangular boxes. 2.5 inches on a side & 6" long. It would be cheaper if we could buy a large amount. If anyone has a needs for this type of box, please pm me.
