I don't think, at the serious/fine dining end of things, there's really much competition: it's Food Arts all the way. If you're talking about specific interests, like chocolate or the business side of the industry, there are other publications, but Food Arts is, as they say, "at the restaurant and hotel forefront."

That is pricey at about $15 an issue. Can you explain what you love about it? Great recipes? Great photography? Ideas for new approaches? New techniques????

I'll agree with Food Arts and Art Culinaire.

Food Arts is great for industry updates, profiles, etc. - and it's free!

Art Culinaire is just beautiful. Some amazing food photography and really more into the food rather than industry.
