Source for puff pastry

We live in Union County of New Jersey [northern] ...seeking

a source for [butter] frozen puff pastry. Would like to obtain

box of approx 20+ large sheets . Do you have a source?

Call Dufour Pastry Kitchens at 1-800-439-1282 to find a retail source or have some shipped to you. They will do overnight shipping. Some Whole Foods Markets carry this also.

I wouldn't pay much more than Fresh Direct's $3.49/pound, since making your own is pretty easy. Dufour is good, and conveniently packaged, but costs >$8/14 oz., IIRC.

Dairyland in the Bronx carries Dufour by the case. Their retail outlet is Chef's Warehouse.

ask your neighborhood bakery, they may be friendly enough to order it for you from their bulk supplier...

That's a great price -- in fact, that's about the same, or even cheaper than, Pepperidge Farm puff pastry. Its too bad that Fresh Direct only ships to such a limited number of areas.
