caperberries

Before I start hopping from store to store, I thought I'd run this past you well-shopped folks. I'm looking for large or small caperberries. No, not capers, but caperberries.

I'm in WLA, but will certainly drive further afield if necessary. I need them within the next couple of days, so mail-order isn't the best option.

Any thoughts?

Instead of hopping from store to store, you can make a few phone calls instead to Surfas in Culver City or the usual grocery stores (Bristol Farms, Whole Foods) or Trader Joe's.

Perhaps, this might be a job for "Mr. Produce Man" ... Russ Parsons. You can send him a PM.

Adams Ranch http://www.adamsoliveranch.com/ ( the olive people) grow, cure and sell them at the farmers markets. It may not be listed on the web site as it is a very small production. Call Gary or Alex and ask if they will have them. They will be in Santa Monica on Weds. They are near 4th street and Arizona. BTW I believe they are organic but may not be certified. Ask.
