i have been ordering froma site called tinytrapeze.com for a few years. they are based in Mass. and have the most fantastic natural candy and marshmallows. they even sold for a while on the amazon.com gourmet food site.

their website has been down for about a month (at least), and i have no idea what happened to them. does anyone know??

i heard that their business was purchased by or invested in by whole foods and that they are still available through selected whole foods outlets but not through other outlets. i'm not sure if that is gospel but you might want to do a product search on the whole foods site. i hope your search proves to be fruitful.

if i recall correctly, there were a couple companies that got tripped up by selling "vegetarian" marshmallows, made with a gelatin replacement that turned out to be animal-based....the article i read implied that the companies were duped by the "vegan gelatin" maker, rather than being in on the scam.

i think this might have been one of those companies.

i think this might have been one of those companies.

yes, TT were using emes (which turned out not to be vegan) but the vegan marshmallows were only a small part of their range.
