St Lucian Rum - Admiral Rodney

I was just in St Lucia for my honeymoon and I was on the lookout for any good rums or any St Lucia rums.

I picked up the Admiral Rodney Extra Old St Lucia rum. I havent tried it yet, but ill report back when I do.

Has anyone ever tried this one?

Admiral Rodney rum has been around for some time, and has changed considerably since it first came to the market. I'd summarize to say that it's very dry, though not heavily dominated by smoky oak flavors. Definitely interesting if you have some extra money to spend but there are other rums which I'd rather drink every day.
