I'm pretty sure the one on Third is called Lili's Noodle Shop & Grill, FWIW.

* (Just to clarify before the jokes roll in, that's not to say they're Mexican restaurants operated by ethnic Chinese, but rather by immigrants from other Central and/or South American countries.)

Just down the road from my place, on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst NJ, is a Mexican take-out place with fresh tortillas that is indeed owned and run by Koreans.

I think you may be thinking of Tja! on Church Street in Manhattan, which bills itself as "Scandinasian." I think it may still be in business.
