montgomery cheddar

Recommended Posts

Hi Pamela,

Montgomery's is our favourite farmhouse cheddar, too. Of the various unpasteurised cheddars, it has a wonderful, grainy texture and depth of flavour that is unsurpassed.

You could try emailing Elise or Gary at Country Cheeses to see if they can send you a piece. I don't see why not, though the postage might be prohibitive.

You could try my cheese supplier, Hamish Johnson in Framlingon Suffolk 01728 621544. I buy it from him for about £10-£11 per kilo for my lunch cheese platters. It is very very good and i sell quite a lot to regulars on the side. If he won't I could always post it to you but don't know how much it might cost.

Pamela

Why don't you contact the farm to see if they will ship directly to you? If not, they certainly should be able to provide you with a favorable distributor for your location. Contact info here.

We get our montgomery direct from neals yard, and they courier it to us. Thier web site www.nealsyardairy.co.uk gives options for europe and worldwide purchasing.
